Hamaguy is a member of the Solid Ground Family, a Bongo Flava ensemble based in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania. The group consists of : four members, known by their stage names:(Vicent Francis) Master V, (Abdala Akili) Big Black, (Hamad Ramadhani Digalu) Hamaguy, and (Frank Alex) GZ

Hamaguy, one of the group’s members, has ventured into a solo career with the release of his project titled “Hakuna kama Baba” in November 2024.
