“Napendwa” represents a refined and harmonious Bongo Flava composition that explores the joy, tranquility, and self-assurance derived from receiving genuine affection and attentive care from a cherished partner. The track was officially unveiled on September 11, 2026.

This artistic partnership merges Lony Bway’s expressive narrative approach with Dayoo’s characteristic vocal artistry, resulting in an affectionate composition that honors a partnership grounded in devotion, consideration, safeguarding, and mutual dedication.

Throughout the composition, both performers juxtapose turbulent and intricate romantic situations against the experience of discovering a partner who renders love secure and gratifying. Tanzanian artist Dayoo collaborates with Kontawa on the track “Biashara,” a lively Singeli / Bongo Flava piece that transforms the challenges faced by small-scale entrepreneurs into an upbeat and humorous street anthem.

Officially launched on August 7, 2026, the song showcases Dayoo as the lead artist and executive producer, with Kontawa contributing as a featured artist. The lyrics were penned by Romani Baltazary and the track is distributed worldwide by ONErpm.

The term “Biashara” translates to “Business.” Instead of merely glorifying wealth, the song narrates the journey of a struggling entrepreneur who persistently invests in various ventures yet continues to face financial losses. Tanzanian Hip-Hop artist Msamiati, whose birth name is Freddy Benny Mbetwa, collaborates with Bongo Flava singer Dayoo on the track “Usione,” a new Bongo Flava / Hip-Hop partnership that was released on June 4, 2026.

Produced by Daxo Chali, “Usione” signifies another significant collaboration between Msamiati and Dayoo, following their successful joint effort in 2023, titled “Twende Wote.” The song showcases Msamiati’s distinctive Kinyakyusa-Swahili rap style alongside Dayoo’s melodic hook delivery, resulting in a compelling fusion of street storytelling and emotional Bongo Flava charm.
