South African house music producer and DJ, The Real Prechly, has collaborated with Nigerian lyricist Shallipopi to unveil an impressive new track titled “A Collision Of Two Worlds 2.0.” The song also features contributions from DJ Guti BPM and DJ Lux, who enhance the overall sound.

This composition represents a blend of Afrobeat and house music, two genres that share numerous similarities while also exhibiting distinct differences. Afrobeat, which originated in West Africa, draws influences from jazz, funk, highlife, and traditional rhythms. In contrast, house music is a genre of electronic dance music that emerged in Chicago during the late 1980s, characterized by its four-on-the-floor beat, synthesizers, and soulful vocal elements. That’s how “Amapiano genre” emerged.
