Tse Monate is an anticipated Amapiano collaboration that features Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz alongside South African hitmakers Xduppy, DJ Maphorisa, Focalistic, Ricky Lenyora, and Uncool MC.

The song started to attract significant attention on August 23, 2026, following the release of snippets and behind-the-scenes previews online, including teasers shared via Wasafi-related social media accounts. Currently, the collaboration with Diamond Platnumz has been teased but not yet officially launched on major streaming platforms.

At its core, Tse Monate celebrates enjoyment, good times, and the vibrant atmosphere of South African street and nightlife culture. The Sesotho phrase tse monate conveys the idea of things that are good, nice, pleasant, or enjoyable, making it an apt expression for the song’s lively mood. Linguistic references also utilize tse monate in contexts that describe enjoyable experiences.

Musically, this collaboration merges the deep Amapiano log drums and the energetic vibe of South African streets with Diamond Platnumz’s melodic East African style. His involvement creates a compelling Tanzania-South Africa crossover, blending the melodic essence of Bongo Flava with the dance-centric sound of Amapiano.

Interestingly, Tse Monate is already the title of a previously released track by DJ Maphorisa, Xduppy, and DJ Tira featuring Al Xapo and Ricky Lenyora, which has been circulating on Amapiano radio and streaming platforms. Thus, the newly teased version featuring Diamond Platnumz seems to offer a fresh collaborative interpretation of the song, although the final official credits and billing will need to be confirmed upon its release.
