ALBUM | Jay Melody – Addiction

Sharif Saidi Juma, better known as Jay Melody, is one of the few artists with many talents in one person. He is a singer, songwriter, actor, and model all at once. Jay has made a name for himself as a voice of love and deep feelings in Bongo Fleva music. He was born on June 12, 1997, in Dar es Salaam. He started his music journey at a young age, showing his talent through Tanzania House of Talent (THT).

With his new album Addiction, Jay Melody takes fans on an emotional journey. The album has 12 songs, each crafted with skill. Every song tells a different story about love—new feelings, relationship struggles, and heartbreak silenced by pain.

The music in Addiction blends R&B and Afro-Pop sounds. Jay’s unique voice delivers love messages straight to the listener’s heart. His lyrics are heartfelt and real, reflecting moments many can relate to in their own lives.

The album’s highlight features top Tanzanian artists. Alikiba adds soulful vocals filled with emotion. Jux contributes modern R&B styles. Mwana FA offers clever lines with serious messages about life and love.

More than just entertainment, Addiction shows Jay’s growth as an artist. It traces his journey from innocent love to deep reflection on relationships. The mix of instruments—guitar, strings, and African drums—creates a new sound with a Tanzanian identity but a global feel.

Addiction isn’t just an ordinary album. It’s a collection of feelings put into music. Each song draws you in, making you feel part of a love story.

If you want music that touches your soul or brings back memories, Jay Melody offers that.

Listen to Addiction and let his voice take you on a trip.
