AUDIO | Yammi – Mpende Anaekupenda

Yammi, a talented singer and songwriter from Tanzania, has just dropped a new song called “Mpende Anaekupenda.” It’s a catchy Bongo Flava tune that talks about love and making sure you’re in a relationship where the other person cares about you just as much as you care about them.

The song came out on September 18, 2026, and was produced by Ma Feeling, a well-known music producer in Tanzania. It was released by Ziiki Media and Virgin Music Group. Yasirun Yasin Shaban helped write and perfect the song.

The title “Mpende Anaekupenda” means “Love the one who loves you” in English. In the song, Yammi shares some important advice about love, like being loyal, taking care of each other, not cheating, and knowing when to leave if someone doesn’t appreciate you.

The main idea is to remind people not to waste their feelings on someone who doesn’t love them back. Yammi suggests that it’s better to be single and focus on yourself than to stay in a sad relationship.

The music blends Yammi’s smooth singing in Swahili with a modern Bongo Flava beat, making it both emotional and easy to listen to. The song gives great advice about relationships while being fun to hear.
