Tanzanian Bongo Flava musician Hamadai has joined forces with acclaimed vocalist Jay Melody on a new track called Chururu, which was officially launched on October 14, 2026.

This partnership unites two performers who both trace their origins to Tanzania House of Talent (THT), merging Hamadai’s unique style with Jay Melody’s silky, romantic singing approach.

“Chururu” is a love-themed Bongo Flava record centered on profound devotion, dedication, and the thrill of at last being together with someone after surmounting obstacles. The title serves as a metaphor for feelings growing so powerful that perspiration starts to drip.

Alyonem handled the production, while Hamadi Hassani is listed as the composer and songwriter, with the 2026 phonographic copyright likewise recorded in his name.
