Mbwana Yusuph Kilungi, who is professionally recognized as Mbosso or Mbosso Khan, was born on October 3, 1995, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Mbosso first gained significant attention as a prominent member of the renowned Yamoto Band (2012–2017), a group that played a pivotal role in transforming the modern Bongo Flava genre with their hit songs and distinctive sound.

Currently, Mbosso has made a comeback with a compelling new single, “Pawa” — the highlight track from his newly released EP titled Room Number 3.
