Emerging Tanzanian Hip Hop artist Nyabingi Daicon Unique, hailing from Mbeya, has partnered with prominent Bongo Flava artist Rayvanny to release a new single entitled Mbeya.

This collaboration follows Nyabingi’s surge in prominence across digital platforms, driven by his distinctive freestyle technique, sophisticated wordplay, and authentic Hip Hop approach, notably exemplified by his widely-circulated catchphrase, “Sio tu kukinukisha, hata mimi nanuka.”

“Mbeya” functions as a significant regional tribute that honors the cultural heritage, urban landscape, residents, and Hip Hop legacy of Mbeya, recognized as the Green City.

The composition demonstrates considerable civic allegiance, with Nyabingi making references to various Mbeya localities while advancing the city’s representation through forceful lyricism and an independent Hip Hop aesthetic.

Contributing to the track is Rayvanny, among Tanzania’s most prominent musical figures and a native of Mbeya. Originating from Nzovwe, Mbeya, Rayvanny serves as the proprietor and Chief Executive Officer of Next Level Music.

This partnership unites two distinct eras of Mbeya’s musical talent, with Nyabingi demonstrating the sophisticated lyrical prowess that established his prominence while Rayvanny contributes his professional expertise and harmonic sophistication to the composition.
